Spring 2025 Chief Research Officers, Rachel and Ella, at the first workshop of the semester!
In the spring, SWS’ Chief Research Officers present weekly workshops on how to conduct a stock pitch, covering topics such as quantitative and qualitative company analysis as well as other forms of due diligence.
Throughout the semester, SWS members build on the knowledge gained from the workshops by studying a particular company in an industry of their choice. In small groups, SWS members craft stock pitch presentations for stocks they think should be added to the SWS portfolio. At the end of the semester, members present their recommendations to the SWS Board.
This stock pitch capstone project allows members to become eligible for and more prepared for executive and investment board positions.
